also we’ve been talking about moving out/in together, like more than talking: planning. i’ll be 20 in less than a month and for reasons i can’t yet grasp it feels very final. i know it’s not and i know it’s fiscally smart to stay home and not pay rent but i also have this ineffable urge to jump off somewhere and make my own nest. my mom moved to vienna with friends the second she turned 18 so she knows where i’m coming from, but when i brought it up, she was very :/. i just said, at least i’m not leaving the country. i guess i’m asking for advice. all i can think about is how much shit i take for granted like access to microplane graters, infinite toothpaste, air conditioning…
