so my coworker took the cat back this morning. she thought the cat was neurotic at her place because she had a dog, but the cat came here and was still crazy, so obv. the dog wasn’t the problem. the cat is just neurotic. i think i’m going to take a break from the whole cat thing for a little while. i like having a cat, and all the cats i had in various places (parental marriage situations) before were totally chill. i don’t get why i can’t find a chill cat now.
I think you're a really amazing artist. I went to your Flickr just now and that self portrait you did was absolutely fantastic, not to mention all the other pieces on there. I guess what I really want to tell you is not to get discouraged, because you're truly great at what you do.
thank you so much. idk it’s just a little overwhelming, the whole process of transferring and doing a portfolio when i know the competition for a transfer spot is pretty bonkers. not to mention i have almost no time to just sit around and do art shit because i’m always at work or whatever. also i feel kinda rusty.
what program at nyu are you applying for?
i think gallatin. tisch doesn’t have a fine arts program (at least according to their website) and i also want to do english, so yeah.

so today I went and bought pastels and paper and good pencils to start some good work for my portfolio (I forgot to mention i’m trying to transfer schools but another time babies) and instead of sketching and shit like I planned I got drunk all day. cool.
